About Me

Throughout the many years of my career I have worked as a healer and artist, connecting with my clients offering support and transformation. In 2010 I passed my State Board exams and gained my Esthetician license. Early on working as a medical aesthetician under physicians helping to transform my clients struggling with skin concerns to radiant confidence. I've worked as an Eyelash Artist for over 10 years. I owned a beauty and wellness spa which I decided to permanently close in 2020 due to the pandemic shut downs. And as a therapeutic body worker, first gaining my certification as a Massage Therapist and Health Educator in 2012 which later lead to me specializing in CranioSacral Therapy.

Beginning in 2011, I experienced a triggering event which lead to my own struggles with a chronic health crisis. I dedicated a significant portion and years of my time to constantly learning; taking courses, reading countless books, deep diving and working towards healing myself. I gained the nickname “Dr. Mallory” or often referred to as “Therapist” or sessions with me as “Therapy”, as I became the person friends and clients would go to if they were struggling with a health imbalance looking for a natural solution or life coaching support.

By deepening my understanding in functional nutrition via a 2 year specialized course mentored by renowned Functional Medicine Nutritionist Andrea Nakayama. I was able to see the physiological body systems, their function and how the foods we eat, our lifestyle choices, as well as the impact of stress and trauma can disrupt these functions within individual bodies. What is healthy nourishment for one person can lead to disruption and dysfunction within another body. We are all unique, down to how our individual cells respond to the nourishment in our foods to the impact from our environment.

I studied herbal medicine full time for 2 years at the California School of Herbal Studies; completing their Roots of Herbalism program, to their advanced Community Herbalist Program. In addition, I have taken courses in the nervous system by Camille Freeman and trauma informed care from The National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioral Medicine (NICABM), Dr. Elizabeth Guthrie’s Trauma Informed Herbalist program, and classes by Nisa Brown.

My own struggles with chronic pain, illness, ADHD, dyslexia and Complex PTSD lead me to focusing significantly on the nervous system as a dysregulated nervous system can wreak havoc on your mental, spiritual and physiological health. Particularly in this day and age, the vast majority of us are living in a fight/flight/freeze response every day, and many of us don’t even know it! It is so integrated in our American culture that sometimes complaints about being stressed or unwell is a competition! “I bet I struggle more than you struggle” seems to be a toxic trait of our society. I would love to see a world where pain is not an aspect of our identity. I would love us to be challenging each other with feeling joy, gratitude, health, love and abundance! Let’s challenge ourselves on how good it can get! Not the other way around.
